237310, 237990, 238910, NAICS CODES

Scope of Work

To ensure the survival of endangered species, Narrowhead garter snake Whelcon reconstructed the former concrete bridgeway to allow the migration of their prey, the minnow. This included tearing down the previous concrete roadway to correct the 3-foot gap that had previously prevented migration.

Key Project Elements
  • Temporary placement of river paths for wildlife during construction.
  • Installation of articulated concrete blocks with the intent to adapt to soil erosion.
  • Rerouting of previous dirt grade to correct 3-foot gap for migration of native fish.
  • Placement of Log Catches to capture debris and provide nesting.
  • Preservation of endangered species of narrowhead garter snakes, lizards, minnows, and birds.
