Roger Road Pedestrian Safety & Walkability Improvements

Scope of Work

To improve pedestrian safety along Roger Road, concrete sidewalks and ramps were installed from Oracle Road to Romero Road. With this project spanning more than 1.5 miles, Whelcon has installed more than 60,000 square feet of concrete sidewalk, railings, corresponding signage, and managed landscaping.

• Installed 71 ADA Curb Access Ramps (Various Types)
• Built 14,821 Square Feet of Concrete Driveway
• Oversaw Placement of over 2,290 Native Arizona plants along the sidewalk
• Placement of over 30,500 Linear Feet of Irrigation Pipe
• Installed 221 Linear Feet of Barricade Railing
