Federal Bridge Structure Project
New Mexico Romero Creek Bridge
Scope of Work
Following the inspection of the Romero Creek Bridge, Whelcon Contractors LLC will place the concrete foundations for the installation of a pre-manufactured steel structure. This new bridge installation will increase the bridge’s width for driver safety and allow for 100′ of wingwalls along each side of the bridge to prevent debris on the roadway and sediment from entering the stream below.

- Placement of a 14′ x 48′ Pre-fabricated Steel Vehicular Bridge
- Installation of 4,900 LB Reinforcing Steel for bridge foundation
- 320 CUYD of Embankment Construction to install 100′ concrete wingwalls on each side
- 220 tons of Aggregate Roadway Poured
