Elephant Butte Historic Roads

Scope of Work
This project focuses on restoring and rehabilitating multiple roads, campgrounds, parking lots, and pathways within the Elephant Butte Lake State Park. Work includes using asphalt and aggregate base to resurface or restore segments of roadway, removing existing concrete or asphalt roadways, maintaining proper wildlife and environmental safety, and adding traffic control measures.
Key Project Elements
Schedule A:
- Excavation of 8,600 CUYD of Roadway
- Installation of 5,100 Tons of Asphalt Concrete Pavement
- All stripping and Signage for roadways
- 14 tons of Fog Seal and Tack Coat added to new Pavement
Schedule X:
- 520 Tons of Asphalt Concrete Pavement
- 1,100 Ton of Roadway Aggregate
- 100 CUYD of Rock Embankment
- All Pavement Markings and Roadway Signage
Schedule Y:
- Excavation of 2,900 Cubic Yards of Roadway
- 4,000 Ton of Roadway Aggregate
- Installation of 450 tons of Asphalt Pavement
- 70 LNFT of Ditch Excavation and Furrow
